Oxford. Our
first stop is the 'city of dreaming spires', centre of
scholarship for over 1000 years. Visit the ancient
university and hear about its history and
traditions.
Stratford-upon-Avon. We visit Shakespeare's Birthplace. The coach takes us to a
central hotel for your overnight stay, which includes
evening meal and full English breakfast. After a mornings
shopping you'll be picked up from your hotel at
2:00pm.
Warwick
Castle. With its
magnificent medievel towers and ramparts, Warwick Castle
offers visitors over 1000 years of English History. The
chilling dungeon contrasts with the elegant splendour of the
state rooms, baronial Great Hall and the Victorian "Royal
Weekend Party 1898". Visitors can experience the sights and
sounds of medieval life in the KingMaker exhibition. All set
in 60 acres of English grounds and gardens.
This tour is
unescorted from the time you check in at your hotel until
you are collected on day two.
