Oxford
-
We journey through the Thames Valley to
Oxford, 'City of Dreaming
Spires', whose origins go back 1000 years and whose
streets are framed by the stone walls of the
colleges. Our tour takes us through some of the
university buildings where your guide will tell you
of famous past students, and the age-old traditions
of college life that endure to this day.
Stratford-upon-Avon
- Although famous as Shakespeare's birthplace,
Stratford is a charming market town in its own
right. Mellowed buildings, many half timbered, line
broad streets and we visit Shakespeare's
birthplace. We also visit Anne Hathaway's cottage,
a pretty thatched building where the author's wife
was born. This house is very much as she would have
known it.
The
Cotswolds
-
No area in Britain is more beautiful and
enchanting than the Cotswolds. Our tour takes us
through quiet villages each with their particular
heritage. Everywhere we go you will see signs of
our past, either in great houses, small churches,
the rolling landscape and fertile valleys. The
Cotswolds is a complete picture of the English
countryside.
We
also offer an overnight Tour including Stratford -
