Our morning London tour starts with a drive through
Westminster, past Downing Street, home of the Prime Minster,
then on to the Houses of Parliament and the famous Big Ben.
The tour stops for a visit inside Westminster Abbey, site of
many royal coronations. We visit Poets Corner, the tombs of
many well known scientists and monarchs. We also see the
chapel of Henry VII.
We then stop at Buckingham Palace to see the colourful
ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Driving through busy
streets and past peaceful parks, the tour continues through
Piccadilly, home of London's theatre land and finishes in
Trafalgar Square with it's impressive Nelson's Column.
Across the square you will find the National Gallery which
is definitely worth a visit to see some of our nation's art
treasures.
The tour is a must ofr those who want to understand more
about London and its people.
N.B at certain
times there may not be a Changing of the Guard. When there
is no Guard Change we will visit Horse Guard's Parade. If
servcies prohibit a visit inside Westminster Abbey we will
visit the Chapter House.
