Day 1
- Edinburgh -
This morning we board our GNER train to Edinburgh. As we
travel north the countryside and towns like York, Durham,
Newcastle are left behind. Upon arrival in Edinburgh,
we suggest you make your way to your hotel then explore the
city.
Day 2
- Loch Ness and Highlands
- Today our coach tour takes us past Stirling with its
dramatically sited castle. After a short stop in Fort
William in the shadow of Ben Nevis we drive the full length
of Loch Ness. There is a stop at Urquart Castle - a popular
place for monster hunters! There is time to explore the
castle and even take a short cruise on the loch
itself.
Later we stop in
Inverness, the capital of the Highlands before driving to
Culloden Moor where Bonnie Prince Charles attempted to
capture the crown for the Stuart family and learn how it
came to a bloody end.

Day 3
- Edinburgh -
This morning enjoy a last minute shopping expedition or
visit the attractions still on your "must see" list before
boarding the late afternoon train back to London arriving
approximately 22:15 hrs.
