Royal London and
Buckingham Palace - Your Blue Badge guide will take you past

Before entering
Buckingham Palace we see the colourful ceremony of the
Changing of the Guard.*
Finally, we visit
Buckingham Palace the residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Built
in 1702 by the 1st Duke of Buckingham, the palace was
originally called Buckingham House. Queen Victoria was the
first reigning monarch to live in this splendid building. It
is open for 2 months in the summer, but your admission is
guaranteed. Inside you will see fabulous treasures of the
English monarchy. The Palace's own guides will help you with

collection of paintings, porcelain, furniture and antiques.
As well as the Throne Room visit the magnificent Ball Room
which will again be on show this season.
After visiting the
beautiful interior on your way out you will walk through the
wild gardens of Buckingham Palace past the lake. The gardens
are a wild life sanctuary in the heart of London.
