Windsor Castle - You will have the opportunity to explore the magnificent State Apartments, still used today for state occasions and royal receptions. You will visit St George’s chapel, a fine example of gothic architecture and the burial place of many monarchs.
En- route to Hampton Court Palace we visit Royal Holloway College with its extraordinary gothic fairy tale architecture. Here we will see the RAF memorial to the missing and from the tower on a clear day, you will see up to 5 counties as well as London.
Hampton Court Palace- Constructed in the early 15th century, became Henry VIII’s favourite palace. Here he brought his new 2nd wife Anne Boleyn. Jane Seymour his 3rd wife gave birth to Edward VI and Catherine Howard his 5th wife was sentenced to death. 200 years later Christopher Wren re-built part of the palace for King William III. During your visit you will tour the Medieval Kitchens, the Great Hall and the State Apartments.
