May Bank Holiday in Valencia - America's Cup Racing

The America's Cup action returns to Europe for the first time in over 150 years in 2007 when Alingi of Switzerland will defend yachting's most famous prize in Valencia, Spain. See the creme de la creme of the yachting world compete in the 2nd round robin of the Louis Vuitton Cup in Valencia, as teams battle for the right to challenge for The America's Cup.

Option 1: Three Night Flight Tour - 315 GBP (4th May - 7th May 2007) Friday 4th May Our flight tour group meets at Heathrow Airport at 3.30pm where you will meet your tour leader and the rest of your travelling companions. Our scheduled departure is 17.30 and arrival in Valencia is 20.30. Upon arrival in Valencia we will make our way directly to our excellent city centre hostel where we will be accommodated throughout our stay. After checking in the group is invited to get together for a drink at a nearby bar, before we head out to sample the famous Valencian cuisine and hospitality. Saturday 5th May For all passengers it's a free day to relax and the enjoy the sights of Valencia whether it be the old part of town, the fabulous beaches or head straight down to the America's Cup village. Our staff will be on hand to advise and point you in the right direction. Note: If you plan to do some shopping, today is the day as all shops are closed on Sundays. Sunday 6th May Another free day, and again we will head down to the port to take in some racing. For those taking the optional supporters boat it will be an early start and hopefully you will have your sea legs on! The group will look to meet up for an informal get together at one of the many bars/club around the village. Monday 7th May Our flight tour group have an early checkout from our accommodation as we head to the airport for a 9.25am departure for London Heathrow and our tour concludes.
