La Tomatina 2007 - 3 Day Hotel Tour

Day 1 - Tuesday 28th August 2007
Check into hotel – Welcome meeting
Own arrangements to Valencia. Check into your city centre hotel. Taxi from the airport costs approximately €15 or from central station about €5 or about a 20 minute walk. At 6pm meet your Rep at the Hotel reception, for a welcome meeting before heading out for our welcome party.

Day 2 - Wednesday 29th August 2007
The Big Day– LA TOMATINA
After breakfast, we transfer by coach to Bunol journey time approx 1 hour. The festival commences at midday, when several trucks full of tomatoes are emptied into the main square of the town and then the fun really begins with the locals and other travellers covering each other in tomatoes. Afterwards everyone goes for a welcome shower and then we return to our hotel in Valencia by coach. Tonight we meet up in the lively main square, Plaza de la Reina, and sample some of the local bars and nightlife.

Please note: During La Tomatina it is recommended that girls wear tight fitting sports bra and/or singlet and shorts, along with footwear such as sandals or runners. Guys generally wear shorts and shoes only.

Day 3 - Thursday 30th August 2007
Departure Day - Optional Walking tour
Our tour finishes after breakfast today. For those of you who wish to stay on extra nights are available on request and you have the option of joining us for a walking tour of Valencia’s old town, including Valencia Cathedral, Central Market, Bullring and City gates.

FAQ's

HOW DO YOU GET TO VALENCIA?
There are several ways to get to Valencia, the easiest, to fly from Stanstead. As we are a tour operator, rather than a flight shop, we do not book flights. However availability (if booked reasonably early) to Valencia is good and flights are quite competitive. Ryanair and Easyjet fly from Stanstead. You can also catch the train from Madrid / Barcelona.

EXTRA NIGHTS BEFORE / AFTER THE TOUR
If you require nights before or after the tour please let us know when you book extra nights cost £30 per person.

WHERE DO YOU STAY?
We use good standard 3 star hotel accommodation throughout, Hotel rooms are twins and triples. We will do our utmost to make sure your needs are met and groups of friends stay together.
